Welcome to the August edition of NRICH, the maths enrichment site.

This site supports teachers and learners of mathematics with thousands of free resources which are designed to develop subject content knowledge and problem-solving and thinking skills. We aim to offer engaging and challenging problems, articles and interactive environments that offer opportunities for exploration.

This month the mathematical problem-solving and mathematical thinking theme continues to be Making and Testing Hypotheses.

In addition to July's content, the site contains an extra open-ended, investigative challenge, Where am I? , and a Multiplication Equation Sudoku .
